Job summary

Genworth Financial, Inc. is seeking a Lead HR Compliance Coordinator to support compliant hiring practices and a strong candidate experience.

You’ll work with Talent Acquisition, HR Partners, Legal, and vendors to ensure efficient pre-employment processes, including background screening and I-9 verification. The role emphasizes using data to identify trends, improve processes, and strengthen governance while leveraging AI tools to boost productivity and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Human Development, Sociology, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in HR-related role (recruiting, compliance, administration)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with candidates, leaders, vendors, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Administer pre-employment background screening from initiation to disposition.
• Serve as primary contact for background screening vendor and maintain relationship.
• Review background screening reports for completeness and accuracy.
• Analyze compliance data to identify trends and drive process improvements.
