KPMG LLP is seeking a Manager to join our Strategy practice in the United States. The role focuses on executive compensation consulting for Fortune 1000 and mid-market clients, including M&A and IPO-related work.

You will lead engagements, manage budgets and staffing, and mentor junior staff while driving business development. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Five+ years of consulting experience in compensation/benefit design and implementation.
  • Experience in HR M&A due diligence and integration.
  • Strong project management skills across staffing, scope, budgets, and deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive executive compensation consulting services for public and private companies.
  • Advise on compensation aspects of HR M&A transactions (mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, carve-outs).
  • Lead IPO compensation planning including design and communications.
  • Manage engagement process from scope to client communications and deliverables.
  • Mentor and coach junior staff; develop team capabilities.
  • Drive business development initiatives.
