Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of recent experience in federal tax with employer benefit strategies; diverse areas include global compensation and equity sourcing, ASC 718/740, mobility tax, and executive compensation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, economics or related field; law degree a plus; professional credentials listed by KPMG.
  • Experience with corporate taxation and partnerships; ability to manage multiple client engagements and service teams.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Tax, Audit and Advisory teams to provide compensation, benefits, or HR related services.
  • Manage relationships at a senior level with large clients and supervise teams on client projects.
  • Oversee risk and financial performance, including billing, collections, and budget for engagements.
  • Assess tax impact on clients and develop supporting tax arguments and recommendations.
  • Participate in market activities and provide direction and mentoring to the team.
  • Act as a coach and mentor, and present to internal and external audiences.
