Job summary

Michigan Milk Producers Association in Ovid, MI is seeking an experienced Human Resources Clerk to handle hourly payroll, onboarding, training, benefits and employee relations at the facility. You will ensure compliance with the collective bargaining agreement and support recruitment across three shifts.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field and manufacturing HR experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Process hourly payroll and ensure data accuracy in the system.
• Lead recruiting and onboarding of hourly employees and support training and benefits.
• Administer leaves, workers' comp, and employee records.
• Assist with employee engagement, events, and compliance documentation.
• Ensure adherence to the collective bargaining agreement and plant policies.
