Leprino Foods, a leading dairy producer, seeks an HR Generalist I to support plant employees and leaders in Allendale, MI. You will handle day-to-day HR activities, attendance policies, and employee relations while partnering with site leadership to maintain compliant, people-focused operations.

The role involves recruiting coordination, onboarding, benefits support, and engagement initiatives within a 24/7 manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or closely related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a Human Resources role supporting employee-facing processes.
• Working knowledge of Federal and Michigan employment laws, including leave administration, wage and hour concepts, and employee relations practices.
• Experience using HR systems or the demonstrated ability to learn systems such as SAP, UKG, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with employees and leaders across the plant.
• Coordinate daily HR office activities and maintain accurate records.
• Apply attendance and timekeeping policies consistently and coach employees.
• Support employee relations through investigations andEscalation as needed.
• Draft and review disciplinary documentation and participate in meetings and terminations.
