Job summary

Westerman, an employee-owned manufacturer, is opening a new Hebron, OH facility and seeks an experienced HR Representative to support startup, staffing, benefits, payroll, and HR operations.

You will partner with the HR Manager to build solid processes, manage onboarding, open enrollment, maintain HRIS data, and ensure compliance. The role demands strong organization, detail, and customer service across all levels.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources or Business.
• Minimum of 2 years of HR work experience.
• Onboarding experience strongly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HR practices, laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting and staffing: posts requisitions, sources, screens, and interviews hourly production candidates.
• Pre-employment coordination and onboarding process, facilitates new hire orientation.
• Benefits administration: communicates and explains benefit plans, EAP services, Open Enrollment guidance.
• Analyze processes and practices; compiles data and research for HR projects.
• HR administration: coordinates performance management, HRIS filing, records retention, reports.
