Job summary

Central Ohio Primary Care in Westerville, OH is seeking a full-time HR Business Partner to provide operational HR support with emphasis on employee relations. The role partners with site leadership to foster a positive work environment and address conflict, while supporting recruiting, learning and development, DEI, and total rewards as needed.

The HRBP will handle disciplinary actions, investigations, LOA/FMLA, and policy adherence, design training with L&D, and travel to sites for onboarding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in HR or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years HR generalist experience required.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
• Healthcare HR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organizes visits with managers to offer tailored HR support and address HR questions.
• Executes disciplinary actions with proper documentation per HR procedures.
• Conducts employee disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations.
• Maintains proactive HR service level agreement commitments.
• Supports HR aspects of practice acquisitions and transitions.
• Administers LOA, FMLA, ADA and WC processes; handles third-party charges.
• Conducts exit and stay interviews to inform turnover strategy.
• Coordinates internal training with L&D and regional managers; supports onboarding.
• Builds strong relationships with physicians, site managers and staff.
• Maintains confidentiality and handles high-stakes situations with tact.
