Job summary

XTEND is seeking an experienced HR Manager for our Tampa site to lead full-cycle recruiting and HRBP activities. You will partner with managers to define roles, drive employee engagement, and support organizational growth in a fast-paced deep-tech environment.

The role requires 5+ years in recruiting and HR, with a focus on technical and operational roles, performance management, and compensation cycles. On-site position with travel to regional XTEND sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of combined experience in recruiting, HR, and HR Business Partnering at a global tech company or fast-paced startup.
• Proven track record in full-cycle recruiting and talent assessment for technical and operational roles.
• Experience in manager coaching, performance management, and compensation review cycles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or related field; PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP is a plus.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong execution mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growth environment.
• Location: Tampa, FL (on-site) with ~30% travel to other XTEND sites in the region.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment processes for a wide range of roles (technical, operational, engineering, etc).
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and define candidate profiles
• Act as a trusted HR partner to managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle; drive engagement and culture initiatives
• Advise leadership on performance management, promotions, salary reviews, corrective actions, and separations
• Support organizational scaling and workforce planning as the site grows, identifying gaps and scalable HR solutions
• Provide HR support and guidance to XTEND sites across the region
• Ensure HR processes, policies, and recordkeeping meet U.S. compliance and support operational excellence
