Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Experience as HRBP supporting senior leaders and leadership teams.
  • Experience in talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, and employee relations.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to align people strategies to business goals.
  • Experience supporting commercial/sales organizations is preferred.
  • Strong coaching, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using workforce analytics, digital solutions, or AI-enabled tools.

About The Role.

The HR Business Partner, Commercial (Sales) serves as the strategic people partner to McCain’s North America Sales organization. This role collaborates closely with commercial leaders to align talent, culture, workforce, organizational capability, and people strategies with business objectives and growth priorities. As a trusted advisor, the HR Business Partner leverages business acumen, workforce insights, analytics, and emerging technologies to help leaders build high-performing teams, strengthen leadership capability, and drive business results.

What You’ll Be Doing.
  • Partner with Sales leadership teams to align people strategies with commercial business objectives and growth priorities.
  • Provide strategic guidance on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, leadership capability, and talent risk management.
  • Lead talent review, performance management, succession planning, and development planning processes across the Sales organization.
  • Identify, develop, and retain high-potential talent while building robust succession pipelines for critical roles.
  • Collaborate with Talent and Learning teams to accelerate leadership development and capability-building initiatives.
  • Support organizational design, resource planning, role clarity, and team effectiveness initiatives to optimize business performance.
  • Coach leaders on employee engagement, performance management, leadership effectiveness, and talent development.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and policy interpretation while mitigating organizational risk.
  • Leverage workforce analytics, people insights, and business data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks that inform decision-making.
  • Champion the adoption of digital tools, AI-enabled technologies, and modern ways of working to improve employee experiences and business outcomes.
  • Lead the people side of organizational changes, transformations, and business initiatives to ensure successful adoption and implementation.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner supporting senior leaders and leadership teams.
  • Experience in talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and employee relations.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align people strategies to business goals.
  • Experience supporting commercial, sales, customer-facing, or matrixed organizations preferred.
  • Strong coaching, influencing, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using workforce analytics, technology, digital solutions, or AI-enabled tools to drive people and business outcomes.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, project management, and change leadership capabilities.
  • Master’s degree and HR certification/designation (CHRP, CHRL, SHRM, PHR, SPHR, or equivalent) considered an asset.

The HR Business Partner, Commercial (Sales) is part of the Human Resources team supporting McCain’s North America Sales organization. This role partners closely with commercial leaders, HR Centers of Excellence, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver talent, organizational, and workforce strategies that enable business performance. The position plays a critical role in building leadership capability, strengthening organizational effectiveness, and fostering a high-performing, future-ready workforce.

Compensation Package

$97,500.00 - $130,000.00 . USD annually + Bonus eligibility

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
