Job summary

Amazon in the United States (New York area) seeks an HR Business Partner to provide HR generalist support to a large hourly workforce and business leaders. The role focuses on talent management, employee experience, and operational excellence, partnering with leaders to deliver HR initiatives and drive engagement.

You will balance strategic and tactical work, leverage HR metrics to influence business outcomes, and lead projects that enhance workforce experience across locations with a 50% travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
• 2+ years of human resources or equivalent (e.g., operations, customer service, retail, distribution, shipping/logistics, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing) experience
• Experience supporting or leading employee-focused processes including onboarding, benefits, investigations, training or talent management
• MBA or Master’s Degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Improve site effectiveness by identifying systemic patterns and ensuring fair policy application.
• Use data analytics to identify trends and drive improvements in employee experience and business performance.
• Execute and monitor employee engagement strategies and recognition programs.
• Coach leaders on people management, performance feedback, and complex employee relations matters.
• Partner with leaders to ensure equitable talent practices across selection, development, and advancement.
• Drive adoption of HR technology solutions, AI, and self-service tools while delivering high-touch service.
