The position reports to the HR leadership and collaborates with managers across functions. The ideal candidate has 4–6 years in full-cycle recruiting, strong HRIS experience, and familiarity with employment laws.

Tomorrow's most advanced automotive technology is being envisioned today at MOBIS Parts America (MPA). A subsidiary of Hyundai MOBIS, we are a top leading automotive parts supplier. MPA provides after-sales service parts support for Hyundai Motors, Kia Motors, and Genesis. In addition to the distribution of genuine service parts, the MPA Accessories division develops accessories for Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis - which are installed on new vehicles in the United States and Canada.

Description

The HR Business Partner, Recruiting is responsible for managing the organization’s human capital (people) though special projects, recruiting and organization management. The HR Business Partner ensures headcount MPA and agency are within approved budget.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsible for managing day to day recruitment function including but not limited to the following key responsibilities:

• Partner with hiring managers to build overall recruiting strategy: understanding the needs of hiring managers and sourcing the best talent to fill open positions.
• Continuously partner with recruiting team and managers to design, refine, and implement innovative recruiting and social media strategies.
• Stay active with current job boards, social networks and platforms to find talent.
• Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
• Manage intake meetings with hiring managers independently and determine candidate needs for each position.
• Work independently to identify appropriate candidates for each opening and determine appropriate fits for interview.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

• Employment, Recruiting and Retention (Back-up)
• Recruiting –manage recruitment process from entry level through senior level management (internal and external) and experience in recruiting life cycle. Work with management and guide them through best actions to take, keeping in mind EEO laws.
• Handle new hire orientation, resignations, exit interviews, visa reviews, I-9's, background checks and drug screening.

WORK SCHEDULE/TRAVEL

• 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.

MAJOR CHALLENGES AND KEY DECISIONS

• This position requires a high level of independent thinking, problem solving and requires decisions to be made daily that will keep the company in compliance with federal and state laws and protect the company from unnecessary litigation.
• It also requires decisions to be made that will maintain a workforce that is motivated, productive, maintain high retention levels and free from union organization.

Required Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors Degree is required.
• Masters Degree is preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 4-6 years full-cycle recruiting experience is required.
• Proven ability to partner with hiring managers to define roles and build effective recruitment strategies
• Experience working with HRIS platforms and entering new hire data into HRIS and/or payroll systems
• Familiarity with employment laws, including I-9 compliance and hiring best practices (preferred)
• Experience recruiting for technical roles such as IT, engineering, or data analytics (preferred)
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter
• Strong interviewing skills, including behavioral interviewing and guiding hiring teams on best practices
• Familiarity with employment laws and hiring compliance best practices

CERTIFICATIONS

• PHR Preferred
• SHRM-CP Preferred

Employment Type - Exempt, Annual Salary

Compensation - The expected hiring range for this position is $54,363.95 - 80,186.82, depending on experience and qualifications.
