Job summary

Shiseido Americas seeks a Manager, Human Resources for the Distribution Center in Groveport, OH. The role covers full HR life cycle for ~200 employees across three shifts, including workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations.

This on‑site position partners with site leadership and HR COE to drive engagement, compliance, and process improvements, including Lean Six Sigma initiatives.

Qualifications

• College degree or relevant work experience; SHRM certification preferred.
• HR generalist experience supporting hourly populations in a distribution center, warehouse, manufacturing or logistics environment.
• On-site work five days a week.
• Impeccable integrity, transparency, and strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Excel and PowerPoint; TEAMS valued.
• Experience with HRIS such as SuccessFactors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for ~200 employees across three shifts on HR matters.
• Partner with DC leaders to foster a people‑first culture and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the Director of HR on priorities and engagement initiatives.
• Maintain on‑site presence five days per week across shifts.
• Support full‑cycle recruiting for hourly and select professional roles.
• Advise on employee relations, performance management, and leave administration.
• Conduct investigations, document findings, and recommend resolutions.
• Facilitate onboarding, new hire orientation, and pre‑employment processes.
• Support Hajimari Summer Internship onboarding activities.
• Drive engagement programs, Lean Six Sigma projects, and HR analytics.
