Job summary

Formentera Operations LLC in Austin, Texas, is seeking a proactive Human Resources Business Partner to support the administration, benefits, payroll, learning and development, and employee relations in an in-office role.

The role will lead the organization’s transition to a new HRIS, partnering with IT and vendors, managing data migration and training, and serving as a trusted resource across HR functions while building strong relationships within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field.
• 4+ years HR experience with exposure to system analytics, benefits, training, employee relations, and payroll.
• Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and payroll regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.
• High attention to detail with payroll and benefits data.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms (Workday, ADP, Rippling).

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health, voluntary and retirement plans.
• Design, coordinate, and deliver training programs for employee growth.
• Advise managers on performance management, discipline, and policy compliance.
• Support payroll processes and data entry, audits, and reconciliation as needed.
