Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking an HR Business Partner, Benefits & Employee Experience, to support employees and leaders across the organization. This role leads benefits administration, leave management, wellness initiatives, and employee experience programs while advising on employee relations, policy compliance, and workforce matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years HR experience with benefits, leave, or employee experience responsibilities.
• Experience in multi-state or multi-site benefits and leave administration preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal and Florida employment laws and regulations.
• Experience partnering with brokers, carriers, and wellness vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration of employee benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, voluntary benefits, wellness).
• Serve as primary contact for benefits eligibility, enrollment, claims, and vendor escalations.
• Manage annual open enrollment activities and carrier coordination.
• Oversee leave administration (FMLA, ADA, parental leave) and return-to-work.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accurate HR records.
• Partner with HR leadership to support investigations, performance management, onboarding/offboarding, and workforce planning.
