Job summary

Shop LC, based in Austin, TX, is seeking an HR Business Partner to join the team in a full-time capacity. The role supports employee relations, onboarding, training, and HR processes across the organization while partnering with leadership to drive strategic HR initiatives.

The candidate should have 3-5 years in HR, familiarity with HRIS/ADP, and a strong grasp of Texas employment laws, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and process improvement.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in HR (experience)
• Spanish language preferred
• Familiarity with HRIS and payroll practices (e.g. ADP)
• Understanding of HR policies, Texas employment laws
• Experience in employee relations, investigations, performance management, and coaching leaders
• Excellent communication and people skills
• MS Office proficiency (Excel/PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and resolve performance or behavioral issues
• Oversee onboarding, training programs, and career progression
• Lead engagement initiatives and analyze employee feedback and exit data
• Support change initiatives and ensure alignment with business goals
• Build relationships with stakeholders and advise on HR strategies
• Collaborate with leaders on workforce planning and organizational design
• Provide guidance on HR metrics and data-driven decisions
• Maintain confidential employee records and ensure HR compliance
