About The Role

The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor and collaborator for business units across a multi-state, multi-site region. This role involves proactively assessing HR-related needs, ensuring seamless communication between HR and operational teams, and aligning talent strategies with business goals.

The HRBP will manage employee relations, promote diversity, support organizational changes, and ensure compliance with employment legislation. This remote position requires up to 30% travel within the Pacific region.

Location: Remote (Pacific – CA, WA, NM, AZ, ID)

Salary: $125,000 – $135,000 annually + performance bonus (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

• Act as a key liaison between HR and business operations
• Assess and anticipate HR needs to develop integrated HR solutions
• Maintain a deep understanding of the business units, including financial performance, culture, and competition
• Lead change management and talent strategies aligned with company objectives
• Promote diversity and inclusion in all HR processes, including recruitment, team development, and promotions
• Guide managers and teams through complex employee relations matters
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Develop and execute HR initiatives and policies across multiple states and sites
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on HR and business initiatives
• Support unionized environments and navigate union-specific challenges
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Hospitality, Statistics, or a related field
• PHR or SPHR certification preferred
• 3–7 years of HR experience in a multi-state, multi-site environment
• Proven experience with unionized workforces is required
• Strong background in employee relations and HR compliance
• Previous operations experience is a plus
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
• Must be able to travel up to 30% as needed
