In this role, you'll balance business and employee needs, while helping leaders understand the impact of changes on employees and National objectives.
- Strategically partner with senior leaders to align HR programs (e.g., performance management, engagement, DEI, talent development) with business objectives.
- Translate enterprise HR strategies into actionable plans tailored to the specific needs of business units.
- Diagnose team and organizational talent gaps and lead collaboration with COEs to develop and implement targeted solutions.
- Provide proactive insights into organizational health, workforce planning, and team dynamics to inform leadership decision-making and HR program design.
- Lead change enablement, stakeholder engagement, and communications for HR initiatives impacting business functions.
- Guide and participate in talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development conversations in partnership with HR leadership and the Talent COE.
- Serve as a thought partner to COEs in shaping HR programs by providing real-time business feedback and employee impact assessments.
- Leverage HR data and analytics to surface trends, assess risks, and influence strategic people decisions.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies while advising leaders on complex employee relations and organizational issues.
- Stay current on industry and labor market trends and proactively adapt people strategies to remain competitive and compliant.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior HRBPs, contributing to capability building across the function.
- Contribute to enterprise-wide HR initiatives and cross-functional projects as needed.
Who You Are:
- A minimum of 4 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in HRBP capacity, is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is required.
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with business leaders and HR colleagues.
- Strong stakeholder management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Solid business acumen with the ability to connect people strategies to business outcomes.
- Proven ability to apply enterprise-wide HR programs to unique business contexts with limited guidance.
- Skilled in interpreting data and business insights to develop and implement HR solutions that improve organizational performance.

- Employee Relations: Leads complex employee relations matters, interprets policy in nuanced situations, and provides consultative guidance to leaders with minimal oversight.

- Data and Metrics: Analyzes people’s data trends across business units; translates insights into strategic recommendations and action plans for leaders.
- Change Management: Leads organizational change initiatives; shapes messaging, supports stakeholder alignment, and drives adoption across functions.
- Relationship Building: Builds and sustains strong, trust-based relationships with senior leaders; navigates across functions to foster alignment and collaboration.
- Strategic Thinking: Partners with COEs and business leaders to shape HR strategies that address long-term business needs; translates strategies into actionable plans.
- HR Acumen: Deeply understands COE functions; collaborates proactively to influence program design, feedback loops, and delivery of enterprise HR solutions.
