Job summary

Springfield Clinic is seeking an experienced HR leader to partner with leadership, align HR strategy with business goals, and drive organizational performance through effective employee relations, talent management, and change initiatives.

You will provide HR leadership, manage projects, support performance reviews, succession planning, and development, while ensuring compliance with employment laws and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required
  • Minimum of three or more years of experience in Human Resources or managing employee situations in response to business needs
  • Demonstrated business focus, business acumen, process orientation, and experience driving change
  • Project management ownership and ability to achieve agreed results
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous strategic tasks and changing deadlines
  • Advanced communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical, conflict-resolution, facilitation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Professional HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to align HR strategy with business goals and organizational vision
  • Provide HR leadership and project management to enhance business results and performance
  • Advise employees and management on HR-related issues as a trusted consultant and change agent
  • Handle employee relations matters, investigations, disciplinary processes, performance conversations, and policy guidance
  • Develop solutions supporting succession planning, employee development, resourcing strategies, and organizational capability
  • Identify skill gaps, training opportunities, mentorship needs, turnover trends, and organizational risks
  • Support annual performance reviews and serve as the departmental contact for performance and reward initiatives
  • Manage and communicate organizational change efforts and contribute to organizational initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, employment law, local regulations, and company requirements
  • Conduct data analyses and provide meaningful information and recommendations
  • Support onboarding and partner with Talent Acquisition on recruiting strategies and information flow
  • Maintain confidentiality, fair and equitable treatment, Springfield Clinic values, and the Code of Conduct
  • Perform incident reporting, required training, customer service, and other assigned duties
