Community Hospital in Grand Junction, CO is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to build relationships, coach leaders, and ensure a compliant workplace. You will address employee relations issues, lead investigations, and guide policy interpretation.

This role offers a collaborative HR team, leadership development, and opportunities to contribute to employee engagement across 1,400+ staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Five (5) or more years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification required on hire or within six months.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations and workplace investigations.
  • Coach leaders and support performance management.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement and retention strategies.
  • Oversee succession planning and talent development.
  • Develop HR policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Lead HR audits and non-provider credentialing.
  • Support professional development and organizational training.
  • Prepare HR reporting and manage special projects.

As a strategic partner to leaders across the organization, you'll play a key role in shaping the employee experience by providing expert guidance on:

  • Employee relations and workplace investigations
  • Leadership coaching and performance management
  • Employee engagement and retention strategies
  • Succession planning and talent development
  • HR policy development and interpretation
  • Regulatory compliance and HR audits
  • Non-provider credentialing
  • Professional development and organizational training
  • HR reporting and special projects

You’ll serve as a trusted advisor, helping leaders navigate challenging situations while fostering a positive, respectful, and compliant workplace culture.

What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
