Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is hiring a HR Assistant in Walton, KY to support recruiting, payroll and general HR administration. The HR Assistant will help schedule interviews, process background checks, prepare new hire files and maintain confidential personnel records in compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of HR/payroll/clerical experience preferred.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate.
• Local language required.

Responsibilities

• Provides support for recruiting: schedule interviews, background checks, job fairs, drug tests, and candidate contact.
• Coordinates new hire orientation process and I-9 compliance.
• Maintains personnel files per legal requirements.
• Supports auditing, reviewing and processing HR paperwork/forms.
• Assists in Open Enrollment and payroll processing.
