Job summary

Fanatics is seeking an HR Assistant to support day-to-day HR operations at the Aberdeen Fulfillment Center in MD. You will manage employee records, HRIS data, and payroll coordination while maintaining discretion and accuracy in a high-volume warehouse setting.

You will collaborate with HR and payroll teams, triage inquiries, and help maintain compliant, up-to-date files. The role emphasizes data-driven improvement and bilingual capabilities where applicable.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in an HR support role, preferably in a warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems such as Oracle and Dimensions.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage employment records, HR system data, and payroll coordination with the payroll team.
• Serve as a point of contact for distribution center employees and triage inquiries.
• Maintain accurate employee files and HRIS records with high attention to privacy.
• Screen calls and connect employees to the appropriate HR resources quickly.
• Support payroll processing and assist with HR initiatives and process improvements.
