Job summary

Dallas Children's Advocacy Center in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Human Resources Assistant to support the HR department with onboarding, employee records, training, and compliance, ensuring confidentiality and excellent service.

You will coordinate onboarding/offboarding, assist with payroll backup, maintain HR systems, and help deliver a positive employee experience within a nonprofit agency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with 2 years of HR support experience; or 4 years of equivalent experience.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll processes; Paycom preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and logistical support for HR meetings, projects, reports, audits, and onboarding/offboarding activities.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding checklists, surveys, documentation, and HR system updates.
• Support background screenings, employee records, HR calendars, and internal communications.
