Job summary

GREEN MEADOWS HOME HEALTH CARE INC in Orange County, CA is seeking a reliable HR Assistant to join our Home Health & Hospice team on a part‑time basis. You will support day‑to‑day HR operations, onboarding, records, compliance, and general office tasks in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to handle confidential information.

Qualifications

• Previous HR or administrative experience preferred.
• Healthcare or Home Health experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to learn HR, payroll, and healthcare software systems.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department
• Assist with new-hire onboarding, including collecting and maintaining employee documents
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files
• Assist with employment verifications and employee record requests
• Help track employee licenses, certifications, CPR cards, background checks, and other required credentials
• Assist with employee orientations and onboarding paperwork
• Prepare and distribute HR-related forms, notices, and communications
• Assist with tracking attendance, timekeeping, PTO, and other employee records
• Assist with employee benefits and open enrollment processes
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee and company information
• Perform other HR duties and projects as assigned
