Job summary

Leidos seeks a Human Resource Assistant with federal payroll and leave experience to support the FAA's AHR Pay and Leave operations in Washington, DC. The role handles personnel actions, payroll deductions, and benefits, coordinating with the DOI Payroll Operations Division and union contracts.

You will process pay actions, review time and leave data, and assist with ensuring accurate payroll before final calculations.

Qualifications

• Experience with federal payroll, leave types, and audits.
• Familiarity with union contracts and bargaining agreements.
• Clerical procedures and records maintenance.
• Experience in a federal agency environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process a broad range of personnel actions including accessions, separations, pay changes, and benefits forms.
• Input and process payroll actions and deductions via data systems, coordinating with FAA/DOI payroll ops.
• Review and act on BUS reports related to employee bargaining unit enrollment changes.
• Notify timekeepers and resolve pay coding issues before final pay calculations.
• Support pay actions across multiple pay systems and advise on settlements affecting leave and T&A.
