Job summary

Fanatics is seeking an HR Assistant to join the Waxahachie Warehouse, supporting the full spectrum of HR operations in a high-volume environment. You will manage employee records, HR system data, and payroll coordination while maintaining discretion and accuracy.

The role emphasizes using data and workflow improvements, with bilingual (Spanish/English) capability, and collaboration with payroll and DC teams to ensure smooth operations, including nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in an HR support role; warehouse/distribution center experience a plus.
• Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experienced with HRIS systems such as Oracle and Dimensions.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication; ability to interact with employees at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• High discretion and integrity handling sensitive information.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed; bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
• Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR staff and payroll to coordinate employee data, status changes, and payroll workflows.
• Serve as a reliable contact for distribution center employees across all shifts.
• Support HR leadership by handling clerical and administrative tasks to enable strategic priorities.
• Maintain accurate employee files and HRIS records with careful data governance.
• Screen calls and direct employees to appropriate HR resources quickly and effectively.
