Job summary

HR Recruit is partnering with a not-for-profit organisation to recruit an experienced HR Administrator/HR Assistant/HR Coordinator to join a small HR team. The role is fully remote and involves day-to-day HR tasks, supporting managers and staff across the employee lifecycle.

You will provide generalist People support and lead end-to-end recruitment, working both collaboratively and independently in a small team. Prior HR experience is essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years HR experience.
  • Experience with HR systems and implementing a new HR system.
  • Proven track record in supporting recruitment campaigns.
  • Experience in supporting People projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate employee records with privacy and retention compliance.
  • Coordinate onboarding, inductions, probation reviews and leaver processes.
  • Support employment relations casework, including meeting coordination and note-taking.
  • Monitor People and recruitment inboxes and respond to queries promptly.
  • Prepare People letters, contracts and other documentation.
  • Monitor return-to-work meetings and absence records; escalate as required.
  • Maintain and develop the HRIS with accurate data.
  • Support HRIS projects, system updates and development.
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment: job descriptions, adverts, interviews, shortlisting.
  • Coordinate onboarding, inductions and pre-employment checks (right to work, DBS, credit checks).
  • Support the L&D Lead with training schedules, venues, and calendar.
  • Maintain training records and assign eLearning modules.

HR Assistant, Fully Remote
Permanent, 36 hours per week
£28,000-£30,000 plus excellent pension, 28 days holiday (plus BH)

Only candidates currently living in the UK will be considered, as the role may require occasional travel to sites. Previous HR experience is also essential.

HR Recruit are partnering with a not for profit organisation to recruit an experienced HR Administrator/HR Assistant/HR Coordinator to join a small HR team.
The role will assist with day-to-day operational tasks, providing managers and staff with effective administrative support in all aspects of Human Resources.
You will provide People generalist support for the full employee lifecycle, as well as support with the end-to-end recruitment cycle. To be successful in this role, you must be able to work as part of a small team, whilst also independently and proactively completing tasks.

Role Responsibilities

Person Specification
  • A minimum of 3 years HR experience
  • Experience of HR systems and being part of a team to implement a new HR system.
  • Proven track record in supporting recruitment campaigns
  • Experience of supporting People projects and new People initiatives.
  • Flexible with ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills able to work with people in a supportive, sensitive and calm manner managing confidentiality.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to check detailed information, able to critique own work and the work of others.

In return you will receive a salary of between £28,000-£30,000 plus excellent pension and holidays.
The role would be suitable for an experienced HR Administrator, HR Assistant or HR Coordinator.

The salary banding advertised is a guideline, the remuneration offered will be commensurate upon experience
