Job summary

UTHealth Houston in Houston, TX is seeking an Analytics and Reporting Specialist to design and deliver standard and ad hoc reports, dashboards and workforce models for planning and decision support.

The role requires 3 years of experience in data retrieval, analysis, and reporting, with strong skills in MS Office and HRMS databases. You’ll collaborate with leadership to forecast resources and improve reporting processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline required; Master’s preferred.
  • 3 years of relevant experience in retrieving, analyzing, and reporting information.

Responsibilities

  • Gathers data and prepares all reporting, scorecards/dashboards, and analyses on key metrics using MS Office software, HRMS database, and other HR-related databases.
  • Performs statistical, trend, capacity and sensitivity analyses to provide insight into talent gaps.
  • Conducts predictive modeling and data mining/factor analysis based on reported data.
  • Ensures data accuracy and integrity across reporting and integrated datasets.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve, simplify, or automate existing reports and analyses.
  • Collaborates with leadership and other teams to model current and future resource scenarios.
  • Provides recommendations and messaging to stakeholders and responds to ad hoc information requests.
  • Supports technology implementations and data maintenance, and validates report data integrity.
