Job summary

MassDOT is seeking an HR BI Co-op for Spring 2027 to support data analysis, reporting, and dashboard automation. You will work on end-to-end data projects, prepare data, and communicate insights to drive HR decisions.

The role provides exposure to varied analytic techniques in a collaborative team environment. Ideal candidates are pursuing related degrees, proficient in Excel, with interest in SQL/R and data visualization tools like Power BI/Tableau.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a related degree and able to apply quantitative methods.
• Proficient in Excel and data manipulation.
• Interest or experience in SQL and R is desirable.
• Familiarity with DAX or willingness to learn is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create reports by extracting data from various sources and systems.
• Assist HRBI Analysts with fulfilling customer data requests.
• Prepare data for analysis by performing validation and cleaning processes.
• Analyze HR performance, workforce trends, and survey results.
• Assist with data audits and automation of reports and dashboards.
