Job summary

State of Delaware is seeking a State Human Resource Analyst I to conduct job analysis and provide written recommendations for job classification and compensation requests. You will work with multiple automated information systems to retrieve data and support HR processes.

Promotion is possible upon meeting department standards. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and may need to participate in SNEO orientations and use E-Verify.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• One year of professional human resource experience.
• Two years’ paraprofessional or admin support experience may substitute for one year of experience with an HR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, policy interpretation and recommendations to employees and management.
• Interpret and ensure compliance with state and federal HR laws, rules and procedures.
• Analyze requests and data to define equity-friendly solutions and actions.
• Conduct research using multiple data sources and verify accuracy of findings.
• Prepare statistical and narrative reports and present results.
