Human Resources Administrator will support the HR team in a variety of HR activities including the implementation of various HR strategies and initiatives. The primary objective of the HR Admin is to provide efficient administration of Human Resources, resulting in policy and legal compliance and ultimately the delivery of exceptional internal customer service.
Description
HR Admin Support
- Provides overall HR administrative support
- Maintain Workers Compensation records
- Answer general employee questions regarding policies, procedures and benefits
- Processing HRIS entries, such as: Transfers, Changes & Terminations
- Compiles and prepares data for statistical reporting
- Assist in processing, verifying, and maintaining personnel related documentation. (e.g., personnel, medical, I-9, safety, etc.)
- Assist in projects, such as; HR events, employee communications, company-wide meetings and employee functions
- Assist with employee training programs, such as; scheduling, coordinating and tracking
- Responsible for adhering and promoting all company policies and procedures, as well as adhering and promoting state and federal employment laws
- Works well independently and with minimal supervision
- Document workflow and work procedures
- Drives a culture of inclusiveness and engagement throughout the organization
- HR copying, scanning, mailing
- Other duties as assigned
- Answering incoming calls, directing to appropriate department and taking messages
- Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone in a professional, friendly and hospitable manner
Profile
- Degree preferred but not required
- 2+ years HR administrative experience.
- Familiar with basic HR processes and programs.
- Office Equipment, Database & Query Software, ADP HRIS & Payroll System.
- Quality control - the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, monitors own work to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve performance. Attentive to detail. Strong organizational skills.
- Adaptability-the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events. Resourceful.
- Communication Skills - The ability to write clearly, succinctly and understandably. The ability to effectively communicate and relate well to employees.
