  • Process terminations and ensure documentation is complete.
  • Maintain and organize personnel files and obtain missing documents.
  • Assist with recruiting and HR support for managers.
  • Provide basic HR system support and troubleshoot issues.
  • Assist with benefits, policies, processes and resources questions.
  • Direct complex questions to appropriate HR/Payroll staff.
  • Prepare and monitor HR reports (onboarding, anniversaries, recruiting).
  • Protect confidentiality of organizational information.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources Department in the areas of employment, recruiting, onboarding, team member records, HR systems and general HR support. The HR Administrator will help ensure the Human Resources Department is running smoothly and effectively by providing timely and accurate support to team members, managers and the Human Resources team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities, Include but are not limited to:
  1. Promote Family Farm and Home mission statement and family values.
  2. Monitor the Human Resources group email and respond to or direct team member and manager questions and requests.
  3. Review and process new hire paperwork and ensure required information is complete and accurate.
  4. Monitor onboarding reports and follow up with managers regarding incomplete or outstanding onboarding requirements.
  5. Process team member terminations and ensure required information and documentation is complete.
  6. Maintain and organize team member personnel files and obtain missing documentation as needed.
  7. Assist with recruiting and hiring activities and provide related support to managers.
  8. Provide basic HR system support to team members and managers, including password resets, login issues, access questions and other system-related issues.
  9. Assist team members and managers with general HR questions regarding benefits, employment, company policies, processes and available resources.
  10. Direct questions or concerns requiring additional review to the appropriate member of the Human Resources or Payroll team.
  11. Prepare, maintain and monitor Human Resources reports, including onboarding, anniversary, and recruiting reports.
  12. Protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  13. All other duties as assigned by supervisor or company official.
Human Resources Administrator Requirements:

The Human Resources Administrator will have an understanding of general human resources practices and procedures. They must have good oral and written communication skills in order to effectively interact with team members and managers. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities are required. A broad range of computer skills is necessary, including the ability to work with HR systems and database programs. The Human Resources Administrator must maintain confidentiality, have strong problem-solving and customer service skills, and be a team player.
