Job summary

Valence is seeking an HR professional to administer personnel plans, compensation, recruitment, and benefits at the Lawrence site. The role supports employee relations and payroll processing while ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws.

On-boarding of new staff at the site level is included. Ideal candidates have 1+ year HR experience, strong MS Office skills, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience in Human Resources or equivalent degree.
  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel.
  • Administers the compensation program and monitors the performance evaluation program.
  • Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and non-exempt employees at site level.
  • Assists with employee relations at site level with support of Human Resources Generalist.
  • Performs benefit administration at site level and communicates all benefit information to employees.
  • Maintains personnel files and ensures all legal requirements are met.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate processing of payroll including compiling, checking and transmitting, and related recordkeeping.
  • Maintains human resources information systems records and compiles reports from database.
  • Maintains compliance with all federal and state regulations concerning employment.
  • Handles on-boarding of new employees at site level.

Education

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
