Job summary

Boise Cascade is seeking an HR Administrative Technician to support the Western Oregon Region HR team in Medford. The role begins with front desk and HR data entry, carrying responsibilities across onboarding, recruitment support, and employee records.

This position emphasizes customer service, organization, and teamwork, with bilingual Spanish skills preferred and a path to grow within Boise Cascade’s Total Rewards program.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Two (2) years of general office experience; HR-related preferred.
• Skills: Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills; bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional service to employees and visitors by phone and at the front desk.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain HR documents and supplies.
• Complete daily HR office opening and closing procedures.
• Reconcile department credit card transactions.
• Enter, review, and process employee data and changes.
• Support recruiting activities and backup support including applicant screening, interview scheduling, and background checks.
• Assist with onboarding and provide backup support for New Hire Orientation.
• Participate in cross-training, development activities, and other assigned projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
