Cavco Martinsville in Martinsville, VA is seeking a dedicated HR Assistant to support our human resources team with benefit administration, salary determination, and employee relations. The role covers administrative tasks, database maintenance, and posting job ads to ensure smooth HR operations.

You will liaise between HR and employees, help create policies and documents, and assist recruiters in sourcing candidates.

Competenze

• Associate degree in HR-related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years' related administrative experience.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Solid understanding of MS Office and Excel.
• Familiar with applicant tracking database systems an asset.

Mansioni

• Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties.
• Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives.
• Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).
• Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations and etc.).
• Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys and etc.) and take minutes.
• Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
• Assist in payroll preparation with time keeping and by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves and etc.).
• Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews.
• Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees.
• Assist our recruiters to source candidates and update our database.
