Job summary

Actalent is seeking an analytical chemist to support product development and service engineers in medical device, pharmaceutical, and food sectors on-site in Minneapolis, MN. You will analyze raw materials and finished products using instruments to identify, classify, and assess defects.

Responsibilities include performing chemical analyses, documenting results, maintaining instruments, and developing/ validating methods in a GMP lab setting. 1+ year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Materials Science.
• 1+ years of Analytical Chemistry experience (academic or industry).
• Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analysis and sample preparation.
• Properly document and share results with the team.
• Maintain and troubleshoot instruments as needed.
• Create new and validate existing methods as necessary.
• Comply with all regulations (FDA, EHS, etc) in a GMP lab environment.
