Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Analytical Development Chemist to join the Quality Control team in Verona, WI. The role focuses on analytical testing, method development, and method transfer for new client projects, working with raw materials and finished products, including impurity testing and data generation.

The successful candidate will use HPLC, dissolution testing, and GC under GMP conditions, contribute to method verification and validation, and support senior scientists in complex projects.

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. in chemistry or related field.
• Extensive experience with HPLC instrumentation and data interpretation.
• Experience with dissolution testing in a lab setting.
• Experience with GC instrumentation and GMP-regulated labs.
• Hands-on wet chemistry techniques including titration.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing on raw materials and finished products.
• Operate and maintain HPLC systems for method execution and data generation.
• Run dissolution testing and interpret results per established methods.
• Perform GC testing as needed for finished product analyses.
• Document laboratory work clearly per GMP and QC requirements.
• Contribute to method development, verification, transfer and validation.
• Support senior chemists on complex projects with accurate data.
