Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a Tooling Engineer for High-Pressure Die Casting in Northeast Wisconsin. This onsite, direct-hire role offers a base salary of $95,000–$120,000, with relocation available for qualified candidates.

You will support HPDC tooling development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in a high-volume automotive environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with production, engineering and tooling suppliers, manage tooling documentation, and

Qualifications

• Direct HPDC tooling experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency with CAD for tooling design and updates.
• Ability to work 100% onsite and support production outside normal hours.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, modify and maintain HPDC tooling.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues in a live production environment.
• Analyze downtime and dimensional data; implement corrective actions.
• Support tooling builds, cavities, and die components.
• Maintain tooling CAD drawings, revisions and spare parts documentation.
• Contribute to PPAP and manufacturing acceptance activities.
