KLA Industries in Northeast Wisconsin is seeking a Tooling Engineer for High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC). This onsite role focuses on developing, designing, troubleshooting, maintaining and improving HPDC dies used in a high-volume automotive environment.

The candidate will work closely with production and engineering teams, suppliers, and cross-functional groups to resolve tooling issues, improve uptime, quality and die life, and support PPAP and tooling quotes as needed.

Formación

Direct HPDC tooling experience in a production setting.
Strong CAD proficiency with NX/CATIA/SolidWorks.
Ability to work 100% onsite and support after hours when needed.
Experience collaborating with manufacturing teams and suppliers.

Responsabilidades

Develop, design, modify and maintain HPDC tooling.
Troubleshoot tooling issues in a production environment.
Analyze tooling downtime and data; implement corrective solutions.
Support improvements for die filling, thermal balance, venting, die life and cooling.
Create tooling CAD drawings and spare-part documentation.
Support new tool builds, cavity replacements and die components.
