Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc is seeking an experienced Tooling Engineer for High Pressure Die Casting in Northeast Wisconsin. This hands-on, onsite role supports development, design, maintenance and continuous improvement of HPDC dies in a high-volume automotive environment.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot tooling issues with production, analyze downtime and lead tooling-relevant improvements, with relocation available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

Direct HPDC tooling experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong die design and tooling understanding.
Proficiency with CAD and ability to modify dies.
Ability to work with production teams and cross-functional groups.
Willingness to work onsite 100% and outside normal hours when needed.

Responsibilities

Develop, design, modify and maintain HPDC tooling.
Troubleshoot tooling issues directly in production.
Analyze downtime and dimensional data to create corrections.
Support tool build, cavity replacements and tooling documentation.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams; participate in design reviews.
