Job summary

Talent Match Recruiting is seeking a hands-on Tooling Engineer for a high‑pressure die casting operation in Northeast Wisconsin. This onsite role focuses on development, design, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of HPDC dies in a high‑volume automotive setting.

The candidate will work with production and suppliers to resolve tooling issues, improve uptime, and manage tooling documentation, with relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• HPDC tooling experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong die design and tooling understanding.
• Proficiency with CAD and die troubleshooting.
• Ability to work directly with manufacturing/production teams.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, modify and maintain HPDC tooling.
• Troubleshoot tooling and die-related issues in production.
• Analyze tooling downtime and develop corrective solutions.
• Support cooling, venting, thermal balance and die life improvements.
• Create and maintain tooling CAD drawings and documentation.
• Assist with tool builds, cavity replacements and procurement.
• Collaborate with production, tooling suppliers and cross‑functional teams.
• Support PPAP and manufacturing acceptance activities.
