Job summary

PSW Group is seeking a Production Manager to lead the HPDC production department and drive daily operations for magnesium and aluminum casting. The role emphasizes safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost control, with responsibility for staff management and process improvement.

The candidate will oversee production readiness for new die-casting equipment, implement SOPs, manage PPAP and DFM reviews, and ensure ISO/IATF quality systems alignment while mentoring a skilled team.

Qualifications

• Experience in HPDC and related equipment or plastics mold injection is required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to supervise staff, manage KPIs, and drive procedural compliance.
• Familiarity with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily HPDC production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
• Manage staff schedules, tasks, and shift coverage; monitor KPIs and report to management.
• Develop and enforce SOPs; lead training to raise technical competency.
• Maintain a safe workplace and oversee PM for die-casting equipment; ensure OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Lead production readiness activities for new equipment and facility retrofit.
• participate in PPAP, DFM reviews, and continuous improvement projects.
