Job summary

Pace Industries, LLC in New Hampshire is seeking an HPDC Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and control high‑pressure die casting processes, ensuring parts meet quality, productivity, and cost targets while attaining required cycle times.

You will collaborate with Quality, Tooling, Maintenance, Production and Controls Engineering to implement DOE, SPC and continuous improvement, drive process stability, and support new product launches.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain HPDC processes for quality, productivity, and cost.
• Establish shot profiles, injection speeds, pressures, temperatures, and cooling.
• Troubleshoot casting defects such as porosity, flash, misruns, and shrinkage.
• Optimize cycle times, scrap rates, OEE, and material utilization.
• Support die design, die trials, and new product launches.
• Perform root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain process parameters, standards, and work instructions.
• Use SPC and data to monitor and improve stability.
• Collaborate with Quality, Tooling, Maintenance, Production, and Controls Engineering.
• Support PPAP, capability studies, DOE, and continuous improvement.

• Develop, optimize, and maintain HPDC processes for quality, productivity, and cost.
• Establish and optimize shot profiles, injection speeds, pressures, temperatures, and cooling parameters.

• Optimize cycle times, scrap rates, OEE, and material utilization.

• Develop and maintain process parameters, standards, and work instructions.
• Use SPC and process data to monitor and improve process stability.
• Work closely with Quality, Tooling, Maintenance, Production, and Controls Engineering.
• Support PPAP, capability studies, DOE, and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure processes meet safety, quality, and customer requirements.
