Job summary

PSW Group is seeking an experienced Lead HPDC Operator to manage shift operations, set up casting cells, and mentor operators on High-Pressure Die Casting processes. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will translate production schedules into safe, high-quality, efficient execution, while upholding OSHA standards and 5S practices on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Hands-on HPDC experience in metal casting (HPDC).
• Frontline leadership experience on a manufacturing floor.
• Knowledge of gating/venting and furnace operations.
• Ability to program and troubleshoot robotic casting cells (ABB, FANUC, KUKA).

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations and set up casting cells for HPDC.
• Monitor OEE, cycle times, and scrap rates; report to Production Manager.
• Mentor operators, enforce safety, 5S, and SOP compliance.
• Support NPI and R&D prototype runs; assist in SOP validation.
