Job summary

NorthMark Strategies LLC in Dallas seeks a Solutions Architect to lead strategic HPC and cloud work, designing, deploying, and scaling compute-intensive workloads from AI/ML to scientific simulations. You will sit at the intersection of engineering, sales, and product, acting as the voice of the customer internally and the face of the company’s technical capability externally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud/HPC roles with hands-on experience.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Python.
• Strong GPU/HPC computing understanding (CUDA/OpenCL/MPI).
• Customer-first mindset with ability to build long-term relationships.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Preferred: HPC/ML orchestration (Slurm/Kubeflow/MPI).
• Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP and NVIDIA hardware.
• Strong project management and multi-account delivery.
• Mentoring teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact for key customers, troubleshooting HPC, cloud, and AI/ML challenges.
• Guide customers in optimising compute performance for ML training, inference, and simulation workloads.
• Partner with the sales team to identify growth opportunities and deliver technical demos.
• Bridge customers and the product team, relaying feedback for roadmap priorities.
• Engage stakeholders to negotiate solutions and remove blockers for strategic accounts.
• Contribute to technical documentation and best-practice guides for the ecosystem.
