Job summary

NorthMark Strategies LLC is seeking an HPC Storage Solutions Architect to design, integrate, and optimize high-performance storage for HPC, AI/ML, and data-intensive workloads. You will guide customers through requirements, workload analysis, design, PoC, and deployment, ensuring scalable, resilient storage and efficient data workflows.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, and vendor partners, delivering end-to-end storage solutions and aligning platforms with evolving technologies

Qualifications

• Experience in storage solution architecture for HPC or large-scale systems.
• Expertise with Lustre, GPFS, Ceph, VAST and object storage.
• Hands-on with multi-petabyte storage design, deployment, scaling.
• Strong Linux storage, file system protocols (NFS, SMB, POSIX), and performance tuning.
• Experience implementing storage automation and IaC practices (Ansible, Terraform).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Engineering; relevant storage certifications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary storage SME for customers deploying HPC environments.
• Design end-to-end storage architectures and lead proof-of-concept work.
• Collaborate with compute, networking, and orchestration layers for performance.
• Develop blueprints and integration guides for reusable storage patterns.
• Work with vendors to evaluate technologies and influence roadmaps.
