Job summary

Stage 4 Solutions is seeking a Hardware Technician for an onsite HPC support role in Hawthorne, CA. This 12-month contract-to-hire position focuses on maintaining Linux-based supercomputers, troubleshooting, break-fix work, and coordinating with customer and remote teams to meet SLAs.

You will perform diagnostics, hardware replacements, data gathering and escalation to senior product teams. Requires 5+ years in Linux HPC, strong Linux/Unix skills, and a degree in CS or related field (or 8+ years

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Linux HPC experience in large scale systems.
• Strong Linux/Unix, networking and security fundamentals.
• Degree in CS or 8+ years of related experience if no degree.
• Ability to diagnose complex problems and drive resolution.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Linux supercomputer availability to meet SLAs.
• Perform hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Gather data, analyze, and escalate issues for timely resolution.
• Provide technical input and integration opportunities aligned with requirements.
• Work with customer and remote teams, reporting to the Project/Technical Manager.
• Communicate findings across client community and contribute learnings.
• Model knowledge sharing and reuse within the practice.
