Job summary

Stage 4 Solutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer HPC to support a client s supercomputer on-site in Denver, CO or Oklahoma City, OK. The role focuses on maintaining system availability, meeting SLAs, and performing break-fix work with Linux HPC expertise.

You will collaborate with customer and remote teams, diagnose issues, replace parts, and document processes to share knowledge across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Linux HPC experience with large-scale systems.
• Strong Linux/Unix, file systems, networking, and security knowledge.
• Experience with RHEL or SLES preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer relations under pressure.
• Ability to diagnose root causes and drive resolution.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field (or 8+ years experience).

Responsibilities

• Maintain Linux supercomputer systems availability to meet customer SLAs.
• Perform hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Gather data, perform analysis, and escalate issues to higher level support teams when necessary.
• Work under the direction of the Project/Technical Manager and customer representatives to deliver technical and operational support.
• Provide advice on solution and integration opportunities, documenting processes and sharing knowledge across teams.
• Contribute to knowledge tools and communities, ensuring project learnings are captured and reused.
