Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks an HPC Hardware Engineer to support a Federal Customer in Mississippi. The role is remote/teleworker with requirement to travel on-site 5 days a week as needed, supporting hardware installation, diagnostics, and on-call coverage.

Candidates should have 4+ years of experience in hardware, servers, storage, and Linux-based systems, plus TS clearance (TS/SCI preferred) and relevant certifications. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience; degree or 7+ total years if no degree.
• Requires TS clearance; TS/SCI preferred at time of hire.
• Certifications: Security+ and Linux+ or RHCSA/RHCE/CISSP equivalents.
• Location: near customer site and on-site as required.
• Experience: HW installation and repair for servers, storage, switches.

Responsibilities

• Report daily and work on-site at the customer location.
• Monitor HPC systems: compute, network, storage.
• Troubleshoot and repair hardware issues.
• Daily hardware diagnostics and repairs.
• Create/track/close support cases; manage parts and SLAs.
• Maintain on-call coverage and travel for training as needed.
• Mentor junior team members in issue management and growth.
