Job summary

Johns Hopkins Intrastaff is seeking a Prep/PACU RN for a 13-week assignment beginning Monday, November 9th. The position is a 40-hour work week with Monday–Friday schedules and rotating shifts (0600-1430, 0630-1500, 0730-1600, 0900-1730); weekends and on-call are not required.

The role involves facilitating and coordinating care, directing other team members, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support quality, safety, and excellence in care at Johns Hopkins Health System.

Qualifications

• Must hold Maryland RN license or licensed in a compact state.
• Current BLS & ACLS certification.
• 2 years of recent PACU experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating and coordinating care by providing evidence-based care based on the nursing process, policies, procedures, and protocols of the Johns Hopkins Health System.
• Providing direction to/management of other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care.
• Working collaboratively with, and providing leadership for, a multidisciplinary health care team to support program initiatives that support quality, safety, and excellence in care.
• Participating in promoting improvement initiatives (clinical, financial, operational) that supports, protects and promotes area of specialty.
• Implementing initiatives in area of specialty as directed by nursing and medical leadership.
• Fostering a clinical environment of service excellence.
