Job summary

Johns Hopkins Intrastaff is seeking a Prep/PACU RN for a 13-week assignment beginning on Monday, November 9th. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with rotating 6:00–17:30 shifts. No weekends and no on-call requirements.

The position pays $60 per hour and emphasizes evidence-based, policy-driven care within the Johns Hopkins Health System. The role requires Maryland RN licensure (or compact state licensure), current BLS and ACLS, and at least 2 years of PACU experience.

Qualifications

• Current registered nurse license in the state of Maryland, or licensed in a compact state.
• Current BLS & ACLS certification.
• 2 years of recent PACU experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating and coordinating care using the nursing process, policies, procedures, and Johns Hopkins Health System protocols.
• Providing direction and management to other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary health care team to support program initiatives and improve outcomes.
• Participating in quality, safety, and operational improvement initiatives in the area of specialty.
• Implementing initiatives in the area of specialty as directed by nursing and medical leadership.

Rotating shifts — (0600-1430, 0630-1500, 0730-1600, 0900-1730)

$60 pay rate

Facilitating and coordinating care by providing evidence-based care based on the nursing process, policies, procedures, and protocols of the Johns Hopkins Health System.

Providing direction to/management of other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care.

Working collaboratively with, and providing leadership for, a multidisciplinary health care team to support program initiatives that support quality, safety, and excellence in care.

Participating in promoting improvement initiatives (clinical, financial, operational) that supports, protects and promotes area of specialty.

Implementing initiatives in area of specialty as directed by nursing and medical leadership.

Fostering a clinical environment of service excellence.

Must Have
